In the summertime stroll the shores of Lake Dillon, attend the weekly Farmer's Market on Friday. The Lake Dillon amphitheater with its breathtaking lake and mountain views hosts Saturday night concerts, frequent nature talks and Sunday morning church services.
Lake Dillon Marina is being remodeled and enlarged to accomdate more sail boats and runabouts, with dry dock storage available in the off season. A water taxi will take you across the 3300 acre Lake Dillon to the Frisco Marina or you can kayak across on your own. Either way, it is an awesome way to experience the granduer of the Colorado Rockies. A great gathering place at the marina is The Tiki Bar, where guests can sip a late aftenoon cocktail while taking in the magnificence of the lake, the Ten Mile Range and The Gore Range. Order the shrimp po-boy. It's my favorite.
